Dear All,
The Hampshire Cricket League earlier this evening asked if the 3rd XI were willing to be promoted to RD3 for next season!
This is a fantastic accolade for what we have achieved, for those who
were at the presentation evening, and were able to stay awake, would
have heard me rattle off some of the club records that we broke last
season, this is now the icing on the cake! A team largely made up of
colts, 6 of whom played their first game of senior cricket during the
course of the year, ably supported by some slightly older and some not
so young players thoroughly deserve this promotion.
It has been a privilege to captain the side, thank you all very much for
your contribution. I will be in touch again soon asking for your
availability for next season, hopefully see you all in RD3!
