The senior indoor team got back to winning ways with a comprehensive max points win against previously unbeaten Waterlooville B.
Batting first, Alex (27*) and Will (42*) set a sound foundation for a large total of 149, albeit one boosted by some wild bowling and untidy fielding.
Our bowlers were in no mood to let Waterlooville off the hook. Dom, Shaun and Will each picked up a wicket, all clean bowled, and three run-outs completed the job.
This was a solid, no-nonsense performance from ‘Field, more than good enough to beat our rivals from down the A3. So it’s two wins out of three, a great start to life in Division 2.
The u16s also completed a fantastic win against Waterlooville in a tight encounter, making it a very successful evening for the Red Rose.
