Charity Cricket Day

Dear All, Please accept my apologies for a mass email request however, I am appealing for support for a fund raising event – A charity cricket match I and a few of the PCC members are putting on 30th June at Petersfield Cricket Club in support of ‘The Broad Appeal’ & Motor Neurone Disease Research – an incurable and cruel disease. Motor Neurone disease causes the sufferer to become totally incapacitated but their mind is fully functional. A good friend of my Wife Karen, Miche Broad died as a result of this disease a couple of years ago. This year I am raising funds – ambitiously targeting £5000 to support the organisation set up by her husband Chris Broad (the ashes winning batsman), Gemma Broad & Stuart Broad (current England 20-20 captain). Chris has agreed to attend subject to his referring commitments.
