The U13 Girls narrowly lost to Andover today at The Heath in their hardball league match. The visitors scored 101 in their 20 overs and Petersfield fell just short scoring 93 all out. A very good performance with short numbers, the bowlers were very good and Emily Anscombe top scored with a hard hitting 34, outscoring brother Ben who only managed 33 yesterday.
The Petersfield Ladies fell just short away to Headley this afternoon. Loose shots cost the ladies dearly scoring only 59 all out however on a poor pitch they stuck to their task taking 8 wickets but Headley kept calm to win scoring 60 for 8. 3 wickets a piece for Helen Whitaker and Sophie Watson.
