Fundraising bag pack a great success

There was a superb effort by everyone at the bag pack on Friday. We had a great day and raised an incredible total of £875.01, which was a fantastic achievement by all concerned.

We had lots of praise and kind words for our colts, who worked their socks off and were superb representatives for the club. So, at the risk of missing anybody out (and apologies if I do), thanks go to:

Special thanks go to Liz and Judith Squires for the organisation & supervision; Dave Squires, who definitely has potential as an ace Waitrose basket mover and for pointing the punters in the direction of the Easter eggs at regular intervals; and Alex Thomas, who never wants to see another Waitrose carrier bag in his life after a gruelling 6-hour shift at the checkout coalface.
