Dear All
We have firmed up our plans for Petersfield Cricket Club colts summer training and coaching (details will also be put on the club website - http://petersfield.play-cricket.com/ ). We would welcome back those players who decided that they didn't want to do the indoor training or weren't able to do it.
Girls: 6:00pm to 7:15pm at the Heath on Mondays from 27 April (all ages)
U7s: 6:00pm to 7:00pm at the Heath on Friday’s from 24 April (up to school year 2)
U9s: 6:00pm to 7:30pm at the Heath on Friday’s from 24 April (school years 3 and 4)
U11s: 6:30pm to 8:00pm at The Heath on Mondays from 20 April (school years 5 and 6)
U13s: 6:30pm to 8:00pm at Penns Place on Tuesdays from 21 April (school years 7 and 8)
U15s: 6:30pm to 8:.00pm at Penns Place on Tuesdays from 21 April (school years 9 and 10)
It is great that so many of our youngsters will be able to train at the Heath (one of the nicest (if not the nicest) cricket grounds in Hampshire) and those who aren't training on the Heath will be playing their matches on the Heath).
Lisbeth Thomas - lisbeth.thomas@btopenworld.com - could still do with some more colts' volunteers to help with the Waitrose Bag Pack on Good Friday (3rd April) - please contact Lisbeth if your son or daughter is able to help (just an hour or two would be great). Thanks to those who have already volunteered - we particularly need help in the afternoon.
Finally as part of the preparation for the new season we do need volunteers to help with cricket force this Saturday - 28th March - (no skills needed - I am proof of that) - there are all sorts of jobs to do at both the Heath and Penns Place (indoors and outdoors). If our older colts or parents were able to help that would be really appreciated. Please turn up at Penns Place just after 9 on Saturday (or just come down for an hour or so during the day to help).
Thanks
Paddy May
Petersfield Cricket Club Junior Co-ordinator
