Hampshire Cricket in the Community Fundraising Events

To Club Junior Co-ordinators,

Hope your seasons are going well and all of the players you work with are enjoying being involved in cricket. We have a couple of events over the next two weeks which should wrap up the junior cricket season in style and hope that you and some of your members can attend.

I would really appreciate any support you can give to advertise an event we have taking place this Sunday in Winchester where your junior (and adult) members will have the chance to see Hampshire’s star players in six-a-side cricket action. There will be plenty of opportunities to meet the players and get autographs! These events raise funds to support the work of Hampshire Cricket in the Community including the cricket clubs Small Grants Scheme which we are planning to re-open to clubs in Hampshire next year. If you are able to forward this on to your junior members I would really appreciate it.

HAMPSHIRE CRICKET IN THE COMMUNITY STAR SIXES (featuring Glenn Maxwell, Sean Ervine, Jimmy Adams and more of Hampshire’s star players!) – SUNDAY 20^TH JULY 2014

The Hampshire Cricket in the Community Star Sixes are taking place on Sunday 20^th July 2014 at St Cross Cricket Club. It’s a great day out for all the family and an amazing opportunity to meet Hampshire Cricket’s star players who will be competing in a six-a-side on the day. We’ll have a variety of entertainment and refreshments available throughout the event and will be putting on a special sit-down fundraising lunch for anyone who would like to entertain guests or make the day that bit more special.

Parking available: £5 (including programme)

We are also hosting a Pre-Test Match Dinner at The Ageas Bowl with entertainment provided by Phil Tufnell. There are a couple of tables left so if any parents, players or other cricket fans are interested in coming along then please ask them to get in touch ASAP!

‘EVE’ OF TEST DINNER – FRIDAY 25^TH JULY 2014

Less than one week later we have another amazing event target at cricket lovers across the county with our “Eve” of Test Dinner on Friday 25^th July 2014 in the company of Special Guest Speaker Phil Tufnell. You can enjoy a three-course dinner for just £67.50 (tables of 10 are available for £675) and help us raise funds to support Hampshire Cricket in the Community.
